Pillars, Crystal, and Wires

Like licking sour honey from your fingertips
each one so elegant and beautiful
but I still miss the taste of your breath
upon my lips, long after we've kissed

Our astral lines are intertwined
with all of our references to in numbers
we try to be wise as serpents
as innocent as doves
because together, we'll be better
together will be better

Walking through hell and back
holding on to our love for tether
there is no way I would let you go
there's nothing I would rather

Our astral lines are intertwined
with all of our references in numbers
we try to be wise as serpents
as innocent as doves
because together, we'll be better
together will be better

The sound is always there
together and even after a fight
our brains trying achieve vibrating harmony
but we can't hear it just yet

Our astral lines are intertwined
with all of our references in numbers
we try to be wise as serpents
as innocent as doves
because together, we'll be better
together will be better

I like this, it flows together nicely. The only thing I would change, is leave out some filler words.

Ex.

upon my lips, long after we've kissed

Our astral lines are intertwined
and with all of our references to god in numbers
we try to be wise as serpents
as innocent as doves
because together, we'll be better
together will be better

I don't know if you've already put the lyrics to a melody, but as a poem, that's just how I see it. haha
